Electricity North West reveals new flexibility requirements

Electricity North West (ENWL) has launched a new tender, calling for 4.4MW of flexibility over the next three years.

Announced in early October, the tender’s Request for Proposals (RfP) is to open for submissions on 4 November and run until 13 December. It is ENWL’s fifth tender, coming on top of the 52MW of tenders that have already been issued in the last year, with it specifically looking for restore responses in three areas – Bolton by Bowland (900kVA), Coniston (350kVA) and Easton (100kVA).

ENWL is hopeful to start providing the flexibility services in the areas in question by winter 2020-21.
